Wow! Coming up on the 9th month of the race and I’m out here working and adventuring hard. Today I was reminded of one of the very first blogs I wrote back in Guatemala. I wrote it about one of my favorite songs “I don’t wanna go” by Chris Renzema. I wrote about how I know God goes before me in every country, in every place because I can see it in all His creation and His workers. The people who are working hard to spread God’s kingdom a little more to a few more people at a time. The reason I thought of that particular blog with that particular song was because there is a line in it that goes:

“Like Moses in the desert I want to see the land

But like Moses in the desert I can’t fully see your plan

Still your love doesn’t stop when I see the land from a mountain top”

And today I saw the promise land from the mountain top. I stood where Moses stood (roughly) when he looked out and God told him this is the promised land He had promised Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and to Moses’ offspring. Deuteronomy 34.

I don’t know where I’ll be in a few months but I do know that:

“I will go where you go

I will stay where you stay”

Where ever God takes me I want to be there.
